A Meissen porcelain figure of Harlequin Ancien from the Weissenfels Series, mid-18th Century, after the model by Peter Reinicke, standing with his thumbs tucked into his belt at the front, a slapstick tucked into his belt at the back, his lilac and green tunic with two panels of playing cards, the naturalistic base with floral encrusted detail, crossed swords in underglaze blue to reverse edge of base, height approx 13.5cm (faults and repairs).
