							LOT 1528
                A pearlware blue painted small teapot and cover, late 18th century, the globular body painted in blue with a chinoiserie landscape, height 11cm (restored), together with two similar teapots and covers with blue printed decoration (minor faults and restoration). Note: the first teapot is illustrated by Lois Roberts in 'Painted in Blue', published by The Northern Ceramic Society, p.134, fig. 231. Here it is noted that the circle and dot border is uncommon. Provenance: from the collection of Jennifer Moody.
