LOT 1176
A late 19th century oak library clock with three train eight day movement chiming the quarters on four gongs and striking hours on a larger gong, the backplate stamped 'W&H Sch' (Winterhalder & Hofmeier), the rectangular brass dial with silvered chapter ring beneath slow/fast and chime/silent indicators, the case with carved scallop shell to arch above a dentil frieze, glazed door and fluted columns, on a moulded plinth base and bracket feet, height 44cm, with pendulum and winding key.
