An 1897 pattern officer's dress sword with dumbbell-section blade, blade length 83cm, with impressed maker's marks for Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co, nickel-plated hilt with Edward VII cypher and wire-bound fishskin grip, with leather-covered scabbard (blade re-ground, overall rust to hilt, damage to point of leather scabbard with losses).
