A group of three Mozambique Administration Banco Nacional Ultramarino partial banknote die proof engraver's test strikes for the obverse of a five hundred escudos note, comprising a nearly full-framed example in purple with portrait of Caldas Xavier to right side, values in corners, mounted stuck on card backing, a striking partial plate/ink trial in black/brown showing the right hand side of the note fading to embossing, and a cut half of the same note in purple showing the portrait (good/very fine, handling marks).
