A George III 12-inch brass breakarch dial and eight day movement striking on a bell, the dial with silvered strike/silent indicator to arch above a silvered chapter ring framing a matt centre with silvered subsidiary seconds and applied plaque signed 'Jourdain 1704 London', all cornered with cast and pierced gilt foliate scroll spandrels, with pendulum and two weights, housed within a later Edwardian inlaid mahogany case, height 222.5cm.
