A mid-19th century Scottish mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 14-inch painted breakarch dial with titled scene 'The Thunder Storm' to arch above black Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials and inscribed 'Wm Ingram Ayr', cornered with painted scenes representing the four seasons, the hood with swan neck pediment, glazed door and turned columns, above a rectangular trunk door, plain base and bracket feet, height 218cm, with pendulum and two weights.
