An extremely rare late 19th century Bradbury Wilkinson & Co engraved steel large format die plate for an advertising banknote, detailed 'Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ld., Specimen Bank Note, Engravers and Printers of Bank Notes, Bonds, Coupons, Shares, Cheques, & c...', with portrait vignettes of a European shepherdess and a European princess to left and right, values '10' and 'Ten' to corners, height 15cm, width 25.5cm (extremely fine, some minor scuffs and blemishes), with original card/paper sleeve with applied die proof printed cover (some degradation, losses overall).
