A group of nine various 18th and 19th century portrait miniatures of ladies and gentlemen, subjects including Joanna Baillie (1792-1857) and Mrs Masterson, watercolour on ivory, all oval, some indistinctly inscribed verso, various sizes, the largest 9cm x 7.5cm, the smallest 6cm x 4.5cm, together with After Gainsborough - a miniature of the Hon. Mrs Graham over a printed base, and a copy of a self portrait by Peter Paul Rubens on a ceramic plaque, all variously framed in ebonized or gilt metal settings, one with plaited hair verso (11). Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of these items.
