A late 19th century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate with Japy Frères maker's stamp, the white enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, the case with cast urn surmount above masks and acanthus swags, inset with porcelain panels of painted flowers within gilt and bleu céleste borders, on an inverted breakfront base and toupie feet, height 37.5cm, with pendulum (lacking bell).
