A late 19th century French ormolu and brown patinated bronze mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the porcelain circular dial with black Roman hour numerals, painted flower garland, gilt decoration and red jewelling, the case surmounted by a brown patinated bronze figure of a standing classical lady, the ormolu plinth with lion mask and loose acanthus wreath ring handles, above a foliate band and rectangular base, height 23cm (lacking bell and pendulum).
