LOT 1185
An early 19th century French ormolu mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension, striking hours and half hours on a bell via an outside countwheel, the dial with central rosette within a cast foliate chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, the lyre shaped case with flower basket surmount, otherwise with cast flower garland decoration, on a rectangular plinth, cast in relief with a panel of a recumbent angel and two doves, height 52.5cm, with pendulum and a winding key.
