A George V mahogany cased British Government issue mantel clock with eight day single fusee movement, the backplate with 'GRV' insignia and numbered '7540', the 5-inch silvered dial with George V cypher and black Roman hour numerals, the rectangular case with moulded pediment and plinth base, the hinged back door interior with applied paper labels inscribed 'War Graves Commission 82 Baker St... 25.5.27', height 31cm, with pendulum.
