A George V Royal Navy officer's dress sword by J.R. Gaunt & Son Limited, late Edward Thurkle, London & Birmingham, with straight single-edged blade, blade length 80cm, etched with foliate and rope design, crowned Royal arms and fouled anchor, the spine stamped '1650', part-folding gilt cast brass guard, wire bound fishskin grip and lion head pommel, with brass mounted stitched leather scabbard with twin suspension rings and associated bullion knot.
