A Second World War period Japanese katana with curved single-edged blade, blade length 64cm, the signed tang with single peg hole piercing, shaped oval bronze tsuba with overlaid decoration, fabric tape bound fishskin grip with partially hidden menuki fittings in the form of arrowheads, fuchi and kabuto-gane pommel, with stitched leather covered boarded wood scabbard with single ring suspension (some rust/environmental damage to tang).
