A Second World War period Japanese katana with curved single-edged blade, blade length 61cm, the signed tang with single peg hole piercing, shaped oval cast bronze tsuba, fabric tape bound fishskin grip with partially hidden flowerhead menuki fitting and kabuto-gane pommel, with green painted metal scabbard with single ring suspension (lacking fuchi, handle distressed, losses).
