A Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester breakfast cup and saucer, early 19th century, painted with panels of peasants and rural scenes within gilt scroll frames against a pale blue ground beneath gilt rims, puce printed and impressed marks to bases, diameter of saucer 17.6cm, together with a similarly painted Flight, Barr & Barr teacup and saucer with gilt weed ground and gilt gadrooned rim, and a small group of other Flight & Barr Worcester, including a coffee can painted in sepia with a waterside view against a gilt overlaid apricot ground, height 6cm, a celadon green ground coffee cup and saucer with gilt ‘TF’ monogram and a pair of Bute shape ring handled teacups and saucers painted and gilt with oak leaves and acorns against a pale orange ground around panels enclosing gilt monograms, various incised and impressed marks (minor faults). Provenance: The Flight Collection.
