A Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester vase, circa 1815-20, painted with a titled scene from Sir Walter Scott’s poem The Lady of the Lake, against a gilt weed ground between beaded borders, raised on gilt paw feet and a trefoil base, black script marks to base, height 9cm (restored), together with a small group of similar Flight Barr Worcester vases, including a pair with cobalt blue ground painted with floral panels, two painted with flowers, a black ground example painted with pink and white roses, raised on four gilt paw feet, height 9cm, and a cylindrical example with gilt bird head and ring handles, height 8.5cm, also a diminutive planter with gilt mask handles and paw feet, height 8.8cm (faults, losses and restoration throughout). Provenance: The Flight Collection.
