A Martin Brothers stoneware jug, dated 1876, incised with a design of brown glazed scrolling foliage against a blue washed chevron patterned ground, the neck with a fan pattern, applied with a loop handle, incised marks to base, height 26cm (section of foot detached but available with the lot).
