LOT 1205
A George III mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 12-inch painted square dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'R.P. Barber Bristol', the hood with swan neck pediment, glazed door and fluted columns above a plain rectangular trunk door, base and bracket feet, height 209cm, with pendulum and two weights. Note: Richard Price Barber is a recorded clockmaker and goldsmith working in Bristol circa 1789.
