An early Victorian mahogany bracket clock with eight day twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the 7½-inch circular silvered dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Loudan. 16 Blackfriars Road London', the Gothic arched case with applied foliate mouldings and pierced fret panels to sides, on a moulded rectangular base and bun feet, height 49cm, with pendulum. Note: William Loudan is a recorded London clockmaker working between 1825 and 1851.
