A George III oak longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the 10-inch square brass dial with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Longhurst, Steyning', the hood with a moulded pediment above a glazed door flanked by columns, the trunk with a plain door above a plinth base, height 198cm, with pendulum and a weight.
