A Sarah Walton studio pottery salt-glazed stoneware model of a fish, raised on a thick rectangular base, impressed seal mark to underside, length 25.5cm, together with a small group of other studio pottery, some by Sarah Walton, comprising two jugs, tallest 13cm, a tile decorated with a yacht, 11cm square, a vase with brown dipped neck, height 18.5cm, a pot with cork cover and another similar pot, height 9cm. Provenance: from the personal collection of the ceramic artist, the late Eric James Mellon (1925-2014). Note: the cork topped pot was personally used by Eric in his kitchen for storing salt.
