Three small Marianne de Trey porcelain studio pottery bowls, the first of shallow form with five-sided rim, painted with turquoise ‘eyes’ against a sang de boeuf ground within incised panels, diameter 10.5cm, the second of slender footed shape with vertical line decoration in cobalt and brown, height 6.5cm, the third of flared circular shape with banded brown detail, diameter 11cm (restored), each with indistinct impressed seal mark. Provenance: from the personal collection of the ceramic artist, the late Eric James Mellon (1925-2014).
