A small Siddig El Nigoumi studio pottery terracotta pot and cover, dated 1989, the red ground body incised with a scorpion and bird, the cover with incised geometric pattern within a darker rim edge, incised mark and date to base, height 8.5cm, with original purchase receipt. Provenance: from the personal collection of the ceramic artist, the late Eric James Mellon (1925-2014).
