An unusual Colman's Mustard pottery advertising jar in the form of a stein with pewter tappit lid, circa 1883, by Hall & Read, decorated with three figures, 'Sir Loine de Beuf' and 'Sir Jambon de Yorke' flanking 'Colman's Mustard' above the inscription 'Our Mutual Friends', diamond registration lozenge to base, height 8cm (repaired).
