Two pieces of Royal Doulton Bordeaux pattern pottery, decorated with the crest of the Sociedad Sportiva Argentina, circa 1910, comprising a soup plate, diameter 24cm, and an oblong dish, length 18cm, underglaze blue factory marks to bases with black printed stamp 'Bazar Frances 72, Florida' and painted and impressed numerals. Note: affectionately known as La Sportiva, the Sociedad Sportiva Argentina was the main sports club of Argentina during the 1910 decade. It is considered to be a predecessor of the Argentine Olympic Committee.
