A mid-20th century brass sextant, the arc with silvered scale and signed 'Heath & Co New Eltham London S.E.9', fitted with coloured filters, magnifier, mirror and wood handle, within a fitted oak case, case width 28cm.

A mid-20th century lacquered gilt and black enamelled brass anemometer, the circular silvered dial detailed 'No. L 2042', the reverse detailed 'Short & Mason London', diameter 10.8cm, with brown leather case.

A late 19th century leather cased pocket barometer, thermometer and compass, the double hinged leather case opening one side to reveal a gilt lacquered pocket barometer with silvered dial, inscribed 'J. Hicks, Maker, London, 10231', the other side fitted with a central mother-of-pearl compass dial and a mercury thermometer tube, case length 7.5cm (some faults).

A mid-20th century lacquered and black enamelled brass monocular microscope, signed 'E. Leitz Wetzlar No. 76743', with circular stage, rack and pinion focusing and fine focusing, with mahogany case.

An early 20th century gilt lacquered and oxidized brass monocular microscope, height 27cm, with a mahogany case, together with various accessories, including a bullseye condenser and lenses.

A late 19th century gilt lacquered brass monocular microscope, signed 'Baker 244 High Holborn London', with rack and pinion focusing and plano-concave mirror, on a 'Y' shaped stand, with a carrying case.

A W. Watson & Sons Ltd black enamelled and gilt lacquered brass 'Service' microscope, signed and numbered '34791', with rack and pinion focusing, circular stage and plano-concave mirror, with original mahogany carrying case, together with an interchangeable W. Watson & Sons Ltd Bactil binocular fitting, numbered '114931', eyepieces and objective lenses.

A mid-20th century black enamelled microscope, signed 'Beck London, London Model, Model 4196' and numbered '31765', with rack and pinion focusing, black bellows, four-eyepiece rotating turret and rotating circular stage, on a heavy 'Y' shaped base, with original hardwood carrying case and a few accessories.

An Olympus VMZ 1x-4x binocular microscope, numbered '334440', with a pair of G10x eyepieces and a pair of spare G15x eyepieces, together with a small collection of assorted microscope accessories, including slide case, eyepieces and objective lenses.

An early 19th century silver mounted tortoiseshell drawing instrument case of tapered rectangular form, with hinged lid and silver reeded mounts, the interior fitted with brass mounted drawing instruments, case length 16.8cm.

A late 19th/early 20th century W. Watson & Sons Ltd gilt lacquered brass military issue telescope, signed 'W. Watson & Sons Ltd, 313 High Holborn London' above '78' and MoD arrow, with rack and pinion focusing, unextended length 101cm, with brass mounted stained wood tripod.

Note: the Leica camera was restored with replacement shutters and full service by Malcolm Taylor of Herefordshire, approximately 10 years ago.
