An early 20th century Black Forest softwood cuckoo clock with weight driven movement striking on a gong, the dial with Gothic Roman hour numerals, the case with bird and leaf surmount, height 43.5cm, with pendulum and two pine cone weights.

A late 19th century French ormolu and white marble mantel timepiece, the drum cased movement with platform escapement, the circular enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and flowers festoons, the case modelled as a Cupid drummer boy standing upon a fluted white marble cylindrical plinth with acanthus wreath border, height 32.5cm (lacking one drumstick).

An early 19th century Scottish oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted break arch dial with a scene of two French and Royal Navy gunships exchanging fire above Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials and inscribed 'G. Black, Musselburgh', the hood with swan neck pediment, glazed door and turned columns, the trunk with hinged door, cut corner columns and panelled base on bracket feet, height 238cm, with pendulum and two weights.

A late 19th century French ormolu and white marble mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the circular white enamel dial with black Arabic hour numerals, the case with urn surmount above ribbon bow, foliate scrolls and acanthus border, on a white marble bowfront base, applied with ormolu foliate panels, and toupie feet, height 28.5cm, with pendulum and winding key.

A George V mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement chiming on gongs, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hour numerals, the case with glazed hood and trunk door, on a plinth base and bracket feet, height 174.5cm, with pendulum.

A mid-19th century brass pillar skeleton timepiece with eight day spring driven movement, the circular white enamel chapter ring with black Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Wm. Smith Musselburgh, Maker & Inventor', raised on a main column consisting of six smaller columns through which the steel spring passes, on a stepped marble base with glass dome and pendulum, total height 46.5cm.

A William IV mahogany cased wall timepiece, the pocket watch movement detailed 'Jas Scott Hull', the painted square dial inscribed 'Thos Bayley Slaithwate', the waisted case with scroll surmount, height 44cm (alterations).

A mid-19th century brass skeleton timepiece by Scott & Co London, with single chain fusee movement, the silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals, the brass frame with arched surmount and inscribed 'Scott & Co London', on a rosewood oval base with bun feet, total height 26.5cm, with later perspex cover and stand.

A George III 'jewelled' gilt bronze musical automaton table clock base, circa 1770-1780, in the manner of James Cox, containing a spring driven chain fusee carillon mechanism, playing six airs on eight bells and thirteen hammers (five bells with double strike), all four sides with automaton parade scenes depicting boats in an estuary, figures around a village water pump, windmill and farmers in a rural landscape and a fiddler, children and dog, each framed with red and colourless paste set bordered glazed panels, cornered with cast foliate scroll supports and feet further embellished with colourless pastes, the cover with later leather and gilt bronze foliate mounts, the underside of cover engraved 'No 9', length 29cm, originally forming the lower section of an important clock, made for the Eastern market (parts of the jewelling are later replacements, some missing and one side missing glass and jewelled frame).

A French Empire mahogany wheel barometer case of lyre form with alcohol thermometer and indistinctly signed painted dial, length 90cm (lacking movement), together with two 19th century painted wall clock dials, one detailed 'Pyot Leith', diameters 30.3cm and 32.1cm.

An early 20th century picture clock case, the rectangular mother-of-pearl inlaid front panel depicting a view of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, within a gilt frame, total 69cm x 53cm (lacking dial and movement).

A late 19th century spelter mantel clock with eight day movement, the dial with enamel hour plaques and blue Roman numerals, the case modelled as a camel and rider, height 44.5cm (faults and lacking pendulum and bell). Provenance: from the estate of the late Nellie Lenson-Smith (1928-2017).
