A mid-18th century oak longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the 11-inch square brass dial with silvered centre, date aperture and engraved fruit basket and signed 'Thos Ranger Chipstead in Kent', framed by a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, the hood with moulded pediment, turned columns and glazed door above a rectangular trunk door, plain base and plinth, height 188cm, with pendulum and weight (some faults and alterations). Note: Thomas Ranger is recorded as a clockmaker working in Chipstead, Kent, between circa 1740 and 1770.

A George III oak and mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 12-inch painted breakarch dial with a scene of huntsman and hounds to arch above Roman numerals and indistinctly signed, cornered with four swans, the hood with swan neck pediment above fluted columns and glazed door, the crossbanded trunk with fluted cut corner columns flanking a door with shaped surmount above base and bracket feet, height 208cm, with pendulum, two weights and winder.

A late 19th century French gilt metal and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the jewelled porcelain circular dial with Roman hours and central landscape within silvered and gilt borders, the case with urn surmount above pineapple finials and further porcelain panels, painted with landscapes within jewelled silvered and gilt borders, on a breakfront base, height 40cm (lacking pendulum and some faults).

A mid to late 19th century French ormolu mounted white marble mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the white enamel circular dial with Roman numerals and inscribed 'Hry Marc à Paris' within a foliate and strapwork applied frame, the case surmounted with a dancing maiden accompanied by a goat, on a rococo scroll moulded base, cast with foliate meanders and scrolls, height 49cm (lacking pendulum and some faults).

A late 19th century French gilt metal mounted white marble Marie Antoinette style mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the circular brass embossed dial inset with enamel hour plaques displaying black Roman numerals, the lyre shaped case with sunburst mask and festoon surmount above a colourless paste set pendulum and dial surround, on an oval base and toupie feet, height 40cm, with a winding key.

An early 20th century French brass, onyx and champlevé enamel four glass mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong and mercury compensated pendulum, the dial with Arabic numerals and flower festoons, the case with bevelled glass panels, on bracket feet, height 27.5cm.

A 20th century German brass cased circular ship's clock with eight day movement striking hours and half hours on a bell, the dial with subsidiary seconds and inscribed 'Wempe Chronometerwerke Hamburg', the cylindrical case mounted on a mahogany backplate, case diameter 14.5cm, together with a late 19th century French gilt metal cased oval desk timepiece, the movement with balance escapement, the dial with Roman numerals, the case with gimbal mount and circular base, height 13cm (bevelled glass chipped).

A mid-20th century lacquered brass and crocodile skin mounted cigar box timepiece of square form, the hinged lid applied with a gilt dial with Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Morabito', height 12.4cm (some faults).

A late 19th century French gilt spelter and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with Japy Frères maker's mark, the porcelain dial with Roman hours and floral band against a bleu céleste and gilt ground, the drum case with urn surmount above leaves and floral festoons, inset with further porcelain panels, case back stamped 'P.H. Mourey', height 33.2cm, with pendulum, ebonized base and glass dome.

An early 20th century desk timepiece, the drum cased movement with platform escapement, the dial formed from a piece of petrified wood with incised gilt Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Payne & Co Tunbridge Wells', height 19cm.

Note: John Malkin is recorded as a clockmaker working in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, between 1771 and 1780.

A 19th century French comtoise or morbier wall clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the circular enamel dial inscribed 'A. Rouiller à Pontorson', the brass surround embossed with flowers, height 41cm, together with a similar wall clock striking on a bell, height 40cm (both with faults and lacking pendulums and weights).

A late 19th century American walnut octagonal cased wall timepiece with thirty hour movement, the painted dial with Seth Thomas mark and subsidiary seconds, width 21.5cm, together with an Edwardian mahogany mantel timepiece, height 17cm, and a Victorian walnut and ebonized mantel aneroid barometer, height 17cm.

A late Victorian pale oak cased circular wall timepiece with brass rectangular plated eight day single chain fusee movement, the re-painted 12-inch dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Morath Brothers, 71 Dale Street Liverpool, established 1839' within a moulded surround, case diameter 38.5cm, with pendulum and winding key.

A Victorian mahogany cased circular wall timepiece with brass eight day single fusee movement, the 12-inch painted dial with black Roman hour numerals, fleur-de-lis hands and inscribed 'Camerer Cuss & Co 54/56 New Oxford St London', the surround finely carved with a ribbon tied wreath of oak leaves and acorns, the case back applied with 'Camerer Cuss & Co' paper retailer's label, case diameter 45cm, with pendulum.

A Victorian mahogany drop dial wall timepiece with brass eight day circular plated single fusee movement, the 13-inch painted circular dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'J.W. Benson, Ludgate Hill London', with cast brass bezel and bevelled glass, the surround carved with a laurel wreath, the rectangular case with two side doors and door to base, height 63cm, case diameter 46cm, with pendulum (restoration).

A late Victorian mahogany cased circular wall timepiece with eight day single fusee movement, the 12-inch painted dial with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'S.J. Clegg, 168 New Cross Rd, S.E.' within a moulded circular surround, diameter 38cm, with pendulum, winding key and case key.
