An early Victorian Scottish mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 13-inch painted break arch dial decorated with landscape to arch and flowers to corners, with subsidiary seconds and date dials and inscribed 'Jas Christie Perth', the hood with swan neck pediment above an arched trunk door and turned columns, on a plain base and bracket feet, height 217cm, with pendulum and two weights. Note: James Christie is a recorded Scottish clockmaker working in Perth from 1820 to 1848.

An early 19th century Scottish mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 14-inch circular painted dial with Roman hours, outer Arabic minutes, subsidiary seconds and date dials, inscribed 'Wm Dobbie Falkirk', the hood with fretwork surmount and brass ball finials above a moulded arch pediment and circular glazed door, the trunk with line inlaid rectangular door flanked by spiral reeded corner columns, on a line inlaid plain base and bracket feet, height 230cm, the pendulum with floral decorated bob and two weights. Note: William Dobbie III is a recorded and renowned Scottish clockmaker working 'Opposite the Steeple' on the high street in Falkirk. He was born in 1796 into a family of clockmakers. He later became watchmaker, jeweller and clockmaker to Queen Victoria and had his work displayed in the 1851 Great Exhibition at Crystal Palace.

An Edwardian silver rectangular cased carriage timepiece, the circular enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, the plain case with scroll carrying handle, on bun feet, import mark London 1905 by John George Piddington, height including handle 8.7cm, together with a fitted leather travelling case with domed top and twin hinged front.

A late 19th century French brass gorge cased carriage clock by Leroy & Fils, with eight day movement striking on a bell, the white enamelled dial with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, inscribed 'Leroy & Fils to the Queen Palais Royal 13-15 a Paris 296 Regent Street London', the backplate similarly inscribed 'Repassée par Leroy & Fils...' and numbered '7455' and '4291', the gorge case with bevelled glass panels and swing handle, height including handle 15.6cm, with a winding key.

A late 19th century French brass one-piece cased carriage alarm clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and subsidiary alarm dial and indistinctly inscribed 'Henry Capt... ', the glazed case with swing handle and bracket feet, height 14.4cm.

A George V silver mounted and ebonized strut clock, the surround modelled as a map of Ceylon, the silvered circular dial with Arabic hour numerals and detailed '8 Days', the back with easel stand, Birmingham 1935 by J.B. Chatterley & Sons Ltd, height 18.5cm, together with a mother-of-pearl mounted watch stand with glazed hinged lid, length 9.5cm.

A mid to late 19th century lacquered brass grande sonnerie carriage alarm clock with eight day movement, striking and repeating on two gongs, the circular enamel dial with black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic minutes above subsidiary alarm dial with Arabic numerals, within a matt gilt surround, the gorge case with bevelled glass panels and swing handle, the oval escapement glass with engraved monogram, the underside with three position setting lever for 'Gde Sonnerie', 'Silence' and 'Hres et Quarts', height including handle 18.4cm, together with original replaced platform escapement and leather travelling case, initialled 'E.R.'. Note: the E.R. initial to outer case is purportedly that of a member of the Rothschild family; the current vendor's grandfather worked as an agent for the Rothschilds and it is believed that this carriage clock was given as a gift.
