An impressive Edwardian mahogany longcase clock, the three train movement chiming quarters on eight tubular gongs and striking hours on a larger tubular gong, the foliate engraved brass breakarch dial with silvered chime selection and chime/silent subsidiary dials to arch, above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic minutes, framing a subsidiary seconds dial and applied silvered plaque, inscribed 'H. Osborn, Croydon', the hood with swan neck pediment above blind fretwork frieze, glazed door and fluted columns, the trunk with arched door flanked by brass stop fluted corner columns, on a panelled base and plinth, height 230cm, with pendulum, three brass weights and winder (some faults).
