A late 19th century Black Forest ebonized softwood trumpeter bracket clock by Gordian Hettich & Sohn of Furtwangen, the two train movement striking hours on a gong and sounding on two trumpets, the backplate stamped 'G.H.S.' over 'F', the dial with composite Roman hour numerals, the case with three turned finials and arch surmount above turned columns flanking a pair of doors, hinged to reveal the trumpeter, on a plinth base and bracket feet, height 68.5cm, with pendulum and winding key (faults).
