An early 19th century mahogany stick barometer, the silvered dial with Vernier scale and mercury thermometer, the case with broken arch pediment and glazed door above a plain trunk and moulded cistern cover, height 102cm.

An early 19th century figured mahogany stick barometer, the brass dial with Vernier scale, signed 'Watkins & Hill Charing Cross London', the case with arched top, visible mercury tube and turned circular cistern cover, height 94cm (faults).

A George III mahogany wheel barometer with silvered dials and alcohol thermometer, signed 'Stampa & Co, 25 Kirby St, Hatton GardN London', the case with broken arch pediment above ebony and boxwood stringing and inlaid flowerhead and shell paterae, height 97cm.

A late Victorian mahogany circular cased wall timepiece with eight day single chain fusee movement, the 12-inch painted circular dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'R. Freston London', within a moulded circular surround, case diameter 38cm, with pendulum and winding key.

A late 19th century walnut and ebonized Vienna style wall timepiece with single train movement, the two piece enamel dial with black Roman hour numerals and subsidiary seconds, the case with arched pediment and turned finials above a glazed door, height 102cm, with pendulum, weight and winding key.

A Victorian mahogany circular cased wall timepiece with eight day single fusee movement, the 10-inch mahogany dial applied with cut brass Roman hour numerals and gilt inscribed 'Crouch Worthing & Chichester', within a moulded surround with brass bezel and bevelled glass, diameter 38cm, with case key (lacking pendulum and minor alterations). Note: Thomas Henry Crouch is a recorded Sussex clockmaker working in South Street, Worthing, around 1870.

A late 19th century Continental tole painted tin octagonal cased wall clock with French eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the circular enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, the case painted with flowers and gilt scrolls on a black ground, width 36cm, with pendulum and winding key.

A late 19th century French black slate and marble mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the two piece enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and visible escapement, the drum case on carved scroll supports and rectangular plinth base, height 33cm, with pendulum and winding key.

A Victorian tortoiseshell veneered and gilt brass mounted bracket clock with eight day triple fusee movement chiming quarters on a nest of eight bells and striking hours on a larger bell, the backplate engraved 'SamL James Stevenage', the similarly signed brass breakarch dial with silvered chime/silent indicator to arch above a silvered chapter ring and recessed signature plaque, framing a matt centre, cornered with pierced and cast scroll spandrels, the case with urn finials above a breakarch glazed front door, the sides with pierced fret panels and handles, flanked by a pair of caryatid and floral columns, on a moulded rectangular base and cast foliate scroll feet, height 55.5cm, with pendulum. Note: Samuel James is a recorded clockmaker working in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, between 1859 and 1874.

An impressive Victorian ebonized and brass mounted bracket clock with eight day triple fusee movement chiming quarters on eight bells and striking hours on a gong, the engraved brass rectangular dial with silvered chime/silent, pendulum regulation and chime selection subsidiary dials above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, the case with pineapple finials above a glazed front door, flanked by a pair of caryatid and floral cast corner columns, the sides with pierced fret panels and handles, on a rectangular plinth base and cast scroll feet, the front applied with presentation plaque, height 62.5cm, with pendulum and winder.

An early 20th century marble, brown patinated and gilt spelter mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the dial with black Arabic hour numerals, the rouge marble case with gilt scroll feet, surmounted with a brown patinated figure of a boy, height 50cm, with pendulum and winding key.

A George III ebonized bracket clock with eight day triple fusee movement striking and chiming quarters on a nest of eight bells and striking the hours on a larger bell, with pull repeat mechanism, the backplate with engraved foliate scrolls, the brass 7-inch breakarch dial with silvered chime/silent indicator to arch above a silvered chapter ring and centre with Roman hour numerals, outer Arabic minutes and date aperture and inscribed 'William Berridge London', the case with moulded arch pediment and brass carrying handle, above a glazed front door, on a moulded plinth base and brass bracket feet, height 45cm, with pendulum and winding key. Note: this clock is illustrated on page 131, plate IV/69, of 'The Georgian Bracket Clock 1714-1830' by Richard C.R. Barder. William Berridge is a recorded London clockmaker working on the Oxford Road from 1785 to 1795.

An early 18th century and later oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 10-inch square brass dial with matt centre, the chapter ring with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Tho Swinnerton Newcastle', the later case with moulded pediment and glazed door, the rectangular trunk door above a plain base and bracket feet, height 184.5cm, with later pendulum and weight (alterations). Note: Thomas Swinnerton is a recorded clockmaker working in Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire. He was born in 1653 and died in 1708, brother of fellow clockmaker John Swinnerton.
