An early to mid-20th century German artillery officer's dress sword by E. & F. Hörster, Solingen, with slightly curved single-edged fullered blade, blade length 76cm, cast brass crossguard with lion-head terminal, the langet with crossed cannon barrels, knuckle bow with oak leaf decoration, wire bound celluloid grip and lion-head pommel with red glass eyes, with steel mounted leather scabbard, together with a Turkish 1909 pattern naval officer's dress sword with slightly curved single-edged blade, blade length 70cm, etched with foliate designs and crescent moon and star motif, marked 'Luigi Gazzan & Fils' to the spine, brass stirrup guard with crescent moon and star motif, and wire bound composite grip, with brass mounted nickel scabbard (overall some environmental damage and some old damage and losses).
