Glassware

A part suite of cut glass ice plates, 19th century, the undersides with vertical line detail, the rims scalloped, comprising six 18.5cm square, five 13.5cm square and three circular, 15.5cm diameter, together with eight plain circular glass plates, diameter 15.7cm, and a blue glass bowl (minor faults).

Three pieces of Delvaux Art Deco glass, each with mottled frosted surface and black line detail, comprising a small ovoid decanter and matched stopper, inscribed 'ABSINTHE', height 11cm, a glass, height 11cm, and an ice bucket, height 13.7cm, each with enamelled script mark to base, together with a small group of other glassware, including a Whitefriars green tinted ribbed wine glass, height 11.5cm, a Fenton opalescent vase and three pieces of frosted and clear glass, possibly Richardson's (some faults).

A cut glass sweetmeat jar and cover, circa 1900, of typical urn form, cut with arched panels of strawberry diamonds between stylized fans, with domed cover and square foot, height 29.5cm, together with two similar sweetmeat or bonbon jars and covers, a gilt metal mounted cut glass vase (converted to a lampbase), height 33cm, and a pair of cluck-cluck (Kuttrolf) decanters (minor faults).

An amber flashed Bohemian glass engraved jar and cover, 19th century, the hexagonal U-shaped body with a titled view of 'The Bank of the United States, Philadelphia', after Hermann J. Meyer, within trellis framing, raised on a waisted stem and scalloped petal foot, the domed cover with engraved trellis detail, height 33cm, (rim repaired), together with a small group of Continental glasses, including a roemer, dated 1751, a sepia enamelled Lobmeyr beaker and a pair of glasses with Krautstrunk style decoration (faults and repairs).

A small group of turquoise and green tinted glassware, 19th century, including four roemers on hollow stems, applied with raspberry prunts over trailed feet, height 12cm, three plain stem wines, height 11cm, and two beakers (faults).

A St Louis frosted and clear glass bust of Napoleon III, raised on a square base inscribed 'CHISLEHURST 1873', moulded factory mark to reverse, height 20cm.

A double-chamber glass gimmel flask, 19th century, the clear conjoined bottles with white trailed decoration beneath blue rims, length 20.5cm, together with a novelty glass tumbler, engraved with a skull and cross bones opposing the inscription 'or Glory', above three dice enclosed in the base, height 7.7cm, and two cut glass scent bottles and stoppers (minor faults).

A pewter mounted Low Countries cut glass bottle, late 18th century, of rounded rectangular shape with stylized floral decoration within oval facet framing, height 20cm, together with a similar smaller flask, engraved with two lovebirds flanking a pair of hearts, height 14.8cm, and a group of other engraved or cut Continental glassware, including a pewter mounted stein, dated 1732, height 20cm.

A silver mounted clear glass decanter, Birmingham 1876, the Prussian shaped body with frosted base, detailed 'BARTON & CO REG No 216578 ST JAMES ST S.W', height 20.5cm, together with a pair of moulded spirit decanters, marked 'BUGGINS BIRM', height 16cm, a novelty decanter with musical base and a group of other decanters (faults).

An Art Deco Lalique frosted and opalescent Saint-François pattern glass vase, designed 1930, the flared circular body moulded in high relief with birds amidst foliage, acid etched mark to base 'R. LALIQUE FRANCE', height 17.5cm.

A collection of mostly Chinese glass paperweights, 20th century, including a patterned millefiori example, three with fish, a butterfly and flower against a blue ground, flowers and abstract designs.

A set of six Holmegaard High Life beer glasses, 1970s, designed by Per Lütken, height 22cm, with original boxes.

A Stourbridge glass millefiori paperweight, late 19th/early 20th century, of pink, blue and white colouring with concentric rings of millefiori canes around a central star, diameter 8.5cm.

A Clichy scrambled millefiori paperweight, circa 1850, with an assortment of canes, including a rose, diameter approx 7cm, together with a similar smaller example, diameter approx 4.5cm, and an example set with barber's pole canes, diameter approx 5cm (faults and polishing).

A Lalique frosted and clear glass Nugent pattern footed dish, post 1945, the circular top supported on a stem with four birds, engraved 'Lalique ® France', height 8.5cm, together with a Lalique pheasant cendrier trinket dish (chips).

A small group of pressed slag or malachite glassware, 19th century, including a Heppell fish jug and a pair of square pots, height 8.5cm, together with a group of Victorian souvenir paperweights, mostly depicting topographical scenes.

A Whitefriars millefiori glass paperweight, dated 1979, designed as a butterfly, with top window and five side printies, diameter approx 7.5cm, together with another Whitefriars millefiori glass paperweight, dated 1977, with top window and six side printies, diameter approx 8cm, both boxed.

A group of decorative glassware, including a Michael Boylen ovoid vase, 1970s, height 11cm, a pair of slender tapering vases, each with striped iridescent decoration, height 34.6cm, and a vaseline vase, height 29.5cm.
