Glassware

A pair of cranberry tinted craquelure ice glass vases, mid to late 19th century, of high-shouldered form, gilt with a band of fruiting vine, height 23cm, together with a large group of flint ice glassware with gilt details, including a large jug with fruiting vine band, height 33cm, glasses, decanters, a carafe, jugs and a jug with ice compartment and entwined reeded handle, height 27.5cm (some faults). A mixed group of Stuart Woodchester and Woodchester Spot pattern glassware, including nine hock, five goblets, six sundae dishes and eight footed bowls, together with a group of Webb Corbett Fern & Wave and Wave pattern wares, including a pair of conical decanters and stoppers, height 31cm, two water jugs and a set of six tumblers. A part suite of Waterford Lismore pattern glasses, comprising five water, height 17.3cm, five white wine, height 14cm, five claret, height 15cm, and four sherry, together with a Waterford footed circular bowl, diameter 19cm, a Royal Brierley oval boat shaped cut glass bowl, length 35.5cm, a similar Edinburgh Crystal example, an Edinburgh jug, engraved with the flowers of the nations, height 15cm, and a vase, decorated with cut and engraved irises, height 28cm (fault). An Art Deco enamelled glass cocktail set, decorated with fighting cockerels at various stages of their fight, comprising a circular tray, diameter 26.8cm, six glasses and a matched shaker and stopper, height 23cm, together with approximately fifty similarly decorated cockerel glasses, two cocktail shakers with silvered cockerels, a Stuart decanter and stopper, engraved with a cockerel, height 22cm, and other similar items (minor faults). A set of seven harlequin flashed and cut hock glasses by John Walsh Walsh, comprising two cobalt, two cranberry, amethyst, green and pale blue, height 19.3cm, together with a mix of other flashed hock glasses, including a set of five in ruby red, a blue flashed example with airtwist stem, height 21.5cm, and two beakers. Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.

A mixed group of green uranium glassware, early 20th century, including a set of six wines with oval facet cut bowls, height 12cm, a set of four engraved with stars, a pair with an engraved Greek key band and a pair of conical shape, together with four similar Stuart sundae dishes (minor faults). A set of eight Baccarat Ile d'Aix pattern crystal glass claret wines, height 16cm (minor chip to one rim), together with a Baccarat Geranium pattern footed comport, diameter 24cm, and a Baccarat decanter and stopper, height 30cm, Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.

A mixed group of cranberry glassware, 19th and 20th century, including a honeycomb moulded jug with clear reeded handle, height 18.5cm, conjoined oil and vinegar bottles, a set of four wine glasses, a trumpet vase, bowls and posy vases (minor faults). Six pieces of Whitefriars glass, comprising a thick walled spiral twisted vase in sapphire, height 18.5cm, a Knobbly range vase and bowl, two cylindrical bark vases in ruby, height 15.3cm, and a bubble control circular bowl, diameter 20cm, together with two Liskeard glass vases and another similar. Five pieces of Stevens & Williams Rainbow glassware, 1930s, comprising a blue and green example with circular cut facets, height 15.5cm (minor bruise), three vases with blue and green spirals, height of tallest 21cm, and a red and green bowl, diameter 18.5cm. Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.

A mixed group of threaded Stourbridge glassware, with examples in the style of Richardson and Stevens & Williams, late 19th century, including a biscuit barrel with plated cover and handle, height to top of handle 22cm, a carafe and glass, three pale blue threaded finger bowls with an engraved foliate band, a plate, diameter 19cm, vases and bowls. Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.

A Whitefriars glass amber tint wave-ribbed shallow bowl, circa 1930, diameter 29.5cm, a similar tumbler vase in sapphire, height 19.5cm, a shallow ribbon-trailed bowl in sea green, designed by Tom Hill, diameter 18.5cm, two similar smaller examples in sapphire, diameter 11.5cm, and five other pieces. Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.

A Stevens & Williams art glass vase, late 19th century, of bulbous shape with crimped rim, the exterior of shaded pink colouring with vertical lines of bubbles, cream coloured interior, height 11cm, ten other pieces of Stevens & Williams 'jewelled' glass, including a pair of blue plates, diameter 17.5cm, a raindrop pattern olive green posy and a clear bowl, diameter 16cm, each with engraved registration number to base, and six similar pieces (minor faults). A group of Bohemian flashed and cut or engraved glassware, late 19th and 20th century, including a conical green decanter and stopper, height 38cm, a cobalt blue vase with a chequered pattern, height 22cm, and an amber tint bowl, engraved with fruiting vine, diameter 27cm, together with a ruby leaf shaped dish with gilt detail, length 28.5cm (minor faults). Four Strömbergshyttan engraved glass vases, post-war, the first of square shape, decorated with an eagle, height 25.5cm, one with a Viking boat, one with a deer, height 17.3cm, and the last with stylized foliage, engraved marks to bases, together with a Holmegaard bucket with wicker handle, a Daum ashtray, a Holmegaard vase, engraved with a tribal figure, two pieces of Orrefors, a Kosta bowl by Edenfalk and an unsigned vase, engraved with herons (minor faults). A mixed group of Arts and Crafts glassware, late 19th and early 20th century, in shades of green and clear flint colours, including a set of six green threaded circular plates, diameter 16cm, a set of nine plates with crimped rim, diameter 16cm, seven olive tinted finger bowl rinsers, four green threaded conical glasses, a vase with wide everted rim, height 11cm, and a pair of wine glasses. Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.

A large mixed group of craquelure ice glassware, mostly early 20th century, in a variety of colours, including a flared amethyst tint vase with scalloped rim, height 25.5cm, a campana shaped vase of graduated green colour, height 25cm, and an apricot tinted jug with moulded chevron detail, height 18cm.

A Poschinger iridescent Hanging Heart glass vase, later 20th century, the mother-of-pearl ground with purple trailing and splodges, engraved 'V.P.85' to base, height 12.8cm, together with a green Humpen vase, height 20cm, and a silver overlay vase, probably by Poschinger, height 9cm (cracked).
