A mid-Victorian burr walnut and gilt metal mounted bonheur-du-jour, with overall boxwood foliate scroll decoration, the gallery back fitted with an arched mirror and a drawer flanked by a pair of glazed cabinets, the fall flap enclosing pigeonholes, drawers and a well, the shaped frieze above tapering cabriole legs, height approx 141cm, width approx 88cm.
