A Second World War period Japanese katana with curved single-edged blade, blade length 64cm, the signed tang with single peg hole piercing, pierced oval bronze tsuba with stamped decoration, fabric tape bound fishskin grip with partially hidden gilt bronze menuki fittings, fuchi and kabuto-gane pommel, with black lacquered wood scabbard with leather and steel ring suspension.
