A Second World War period Japanese katana with curved single-edged blade, blade length 63cm, the unsigned tang with single peg hole piercing, oval steel tsuba with wave-like decoration, fabric tape bound fishskin grip with partially hidden flowerhead menuki fittings, fuchi and kashira pommel cap, with stitched leather covered wood scabbard with single ring suspension.
