A Second World War period Japanese katana with curved single-edged blade, blade length 66cm, the signed tang with double peg hole piercings, cast bronze tsuba with pierced decoration, fabric tape bound fishskin grip with partially hidden flowerhead menuki fittings, fuchi and kabuto-gane pommel, the fuchi with spring loaded scabbard release, with brown painted metal scabbard with single suspension ring.
