A late 19th century walnut and ebonized Vienna wall clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the two piece enamel dial with subsidiary seconds and Roman hour numerals, the case with arched surmount and two turned finials above a glazed door with fluted columns and tapered apron, height 114cm, with pendulum.

A George IV brass inlaid mahogany bracket clock, the brass four pillar eight day twin fusee movement with deadbeat escapement striking hours on a bell with pull-repeat mechanism, the backplate signed 'Gravell & Son London' above '3928', the similarly signed silvered circular dial with black Roman hour numerals, the case with breakarch pediment above a recessed front panel with brass edge and inlaid scrolls, flanked by canted corners, the sides with gilt brass cornucopia and loose ring handles above pierced scale fret panels, on a plinth base and brass ball feet, height 44cm, with pendulum and winding key (pendulum suspension spring broken). Note: Gravell & Son are recorded as London clockmakers working at Charterhouse Square between 1783 and 1825.

A late 19th century brass and pottery novelty strut timepiece, the Creil et Montereau pottery dial of artist's palette form, painted with a scene of a young lady and gallant in a garden setting above gilt Roman hour numerals, the movement with platform escapement, supported by a brass easel stand, total height 46cm.

A late 19th century mahogany mantel clock case with white enamel circular dial, the arched surmount with brass finials above boxwood line inlaid decoration, brass columns and bracket feet, height 29cm (lacking movement).

A mid to late 19th century French porcelain cased mantel clock case and stand, the eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the enamel dial inscribed '... Mare à Paris', the porcelain balloon shaped rococo scroll moulded case painted with flowers within green and gilt borders, the stand similarly decorated, total height 33.5cm, with pendulum and winding key (one foot repaired, other minor faults and bell detached).

A mid to late 19th century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the enamel dial with Roman numerals and inscribed 'Payne', the drum case cast with foliate surround, flanked by a seated putto on a rococo scroll moulded base, framing a Sèvres style porcelain panel, painted with cupids within gilt and bleu céleste borders, height 22cm, with pendulum (some faults).

A rare George III Russian interest mahogany stick barometer, the silvered brass rectangular dial with vernier scale and signed 'Tangate' and 'St Petersberg' in Cyrillic script above further detail in Cyrillic script, the bowfront case with gilt metal surmount above a glazed panel, the trunk with mercury thermometer and Cyrillic detailed silvered dial above an urn shaped cistern cover, height 100.5cm (thermometer box missing glazed front). Note: Robert Tangate is recorded in the Directory of British Scientific Instrument Makers 1550-1851 by Gloria Clifton as working in London from 1766 until his death in 1808. Tangate had premises in both London and St Petersburg.

A mid-19th century Swiss rosewood portico clock, the eight day movement with pinwheel escapement striking hours and half hours on a bell via an outside countwheel with adjustable beat to the pendulum crutch, the backplate signed 'Gounouilhou et Francois a Geneve' and numbered 'No 16981', the nine-rod compensated pendulum with circular bob, the silvered dial similarly signed and with Roman hours and subsidiary seconds within a cast foliate surround, the portico case with boxwood line inlaid decoration and four turned columns with gilt metal mounts, on a plinth base, height 52cm.

An Edwardian oak framed aneroid barometer with printed ceramic dial within a carved ropetwist surround, diameter 27cm.

A mid-18th century brass wall alarm clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the breakarch dial with foliate engraved centre, subsidiary alarm dial and single hand, framed by a chapter ring with Roman hour numerals, below a circular boss to the arch, signed 'Benj Reeves Lamberhurst', dial width 18.6cm, dial height 26.1cm, with pendulum, two weights, two alarm weights and a wall bracket. Note: Benjamin Reeves is a recorded clockmaker working in Lamberhurst, Kent, circa 1740 until his death in 1790. He is also known to have worked on a church clock in Battle in 1774.

A mid-18th century burr walnut longcase clock, the brass five pillar eight day movement striking hours on a bell, the 12-inch brass breakarch dial with strike/silent indicator to arch above a silvered chapter ring framing a matt centre with silvered subsidiary seconds, date aperture and applied name plate, inscribed 'Lewis Miraut London', all cornered with cast and pierced gilt spandrels, the square hood with moulded pediment above a glazed door and turned columns, the trunk with arched door above a stepped base and plinth, height 232cm, with pendulum, two weights and winder. Note: Lewis Miraut appears to have used variant spellings of his surname, including Mirau, Mireau and Mirreau. He is recorded as a London clockmaker active in the mid-18th century, working from Langley Street, Westminster, and St Martin-in-the-Fields.

A mid-19th century comtoise or morbier wall clock, the eight day movement with verge escapement, the enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Lacoste à Fronton', the embossed brass surround decorated with sunburst and griffon surmount, height 39.5cm, with pendulum and two weights.

A late 19th century French slate and ormolu calendar mantel clock with eight day movement striking hours and half hours on a bell, the backplate stamped 'Y.M. Thomas Paris', the white enamel chapter ring with black Roman numerals framing a silvered date ring and visible escapement, the arched case surmounted with a vase of fruit and flowers issuing similarly adorned festoons, the front with glazed lenticle flanked by applied scrolls, on a breakfront base and bracket feet, height 46.5cm, with gilt pendulum and winding key.

A late 19th century French slate calendar mantel clock, the two train movement of long duration, probably month going, striking hours and half hours on a bell, the two piece enamel dial with black Roman hour numerals and inner Arabic date ring, the drum case flanked by carved scroll supports, on a plinth base with shaped apron, height 31cm, with pendulum.

A late 19th/early 20th century French brown patinated spelter and marble mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the enamel dial with Arabic numerals and flower festoons, the case modelled after Canova as Cupid and Psyche on a bowfront marble base bearing titled plaque 'Amour et Psyche...', height 57.5cm, with pendulum and key. Note: the original marble sculpture by Antonio Canova, known as Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss, has been exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris since 1824.
