Attributed to Mrs Garnett, after Beatrix Potter - The Tale of Peter Rabbit, early 20th century watercolour frieze with 28 illustrations, each illustration averaging 27cm x 23cm, the verso with the story. Note: according to Margaret Lane in her book 'The Tale of Beatrix Potter' p.108, Potter wrote to her publishers concerning a letter from a Mrs Garnett: 'She has made a frieze for her nursery out of Peter Rabbit, and it is so popular she would like to show it to a paper manufacturer…'.
