Two similar late 19th/early 20th century copper and brass fire engine/carriage lamps by Shand Mason & Co and Merryweather & Sons, each with applied pressed brass maker's plate, circular light aperture and clip suspension, heights 26cm and 23cm (both with faults).

A 20th century brass speaking trumpet with typical shaped tapered body, collars with beaded decoration and shaped mouthpiece, the interior of the bell stamped 'TC 1990', with cord tassel suspension.

An early 20th century Merryweather brass fireman's helmet with unusual plain comb, applied badge, possibly for Hemel Hempstead Fire Brigade, leather-lined chain chin strap and lining, height 27cm, mounted on a presentation stand, total height with stand 36cm.

A group of three late 19th/early 20th century lamps, comprising 'The Crescent Lamp' with black steel body, convex lens, adjustable handles and clip suspensions, a 'Christopher Collins' lamp with black body, applied maker's plate dated 1916, vented flue cap, convex lens, adjustable carry handles and clip suspension, and a miner's style lamp with brass body, marked 'Oldhams 900-4090, height of largest 27cm.

A scarce chrome finished London Auxiliary Fire Service hose spanner, numbered '18778', length 24.5cm, together with a similar steel hose spanner, previously painted red, length 26cm.

Two early 20th century firefighter officers' axes, one by Shand Mason & Co, length 38cm, with black leather holster/frog, the other by Merryweather & Sons Ltd, length 39.5cm, both with finely chequered grips and steel butt plates. Note: the finely finished grips on these examples suggest they belonged to higher ranking officers.

A collection of various 20th century firefighters' and service issue torches, including a 'Traffic Guardian Lamp' by Forster Equipment Co Ltd, Whetstone, Leics, a Nife 'NH10A' safety lamp, a Diktron D.S. 3 distress signal unit and a CEAG Ltd copper and brass safety lamp with broad arrow mark and applied brass maker's plate.

A 20th century London, Midland & Scottish Railway firefighter's long axe by Brades, the steel head mounted on an ash shaft, length 85.5cm, together with a brass railway warning horn, length 34.5cm, with suspension chain.

A group of seven 20th century firemen's axes, including an example with blade marked 'Mason' (probably for Shand Mason & Co) and ash handle, length 40cm, and an example deeply stamped 'Shand Mason & Co', with ash handle, length 40cm.

An early 20th century chrome finished fire engine bell, height 26cm, diameter 24cm, together with a Dennis fire engine clock with hinged chrome finished surround, diameter 9cm.

An American firefighter's helmet by Cairns & Brother Inc, Clifton, New Jersey, the stitched hard black leather body with applied shaped brass crest and white and red leather badge, detailed 'Lieutenant, Elmhurst FD', the interior with fitted fabric lining and applied maker's badge.

A scarce late Victorian silver match vesta, engraved to one side with the crest of the Oxford Volunteer Fire Brigade and dated 1895, and monogram engraved to the other, Birmingham 1894 by D&F, together with two brass cased trench art style lighters, one of hexagonal form, detailed to each side with a button of the Auxiliary Fire Service, the other of cylindrical form, each end with a flaming grenade Fire Brigade button.
