Photographs, Autographs and Ephemera

PHOTOGRAPHS. A group of 14 black and white and cibachrome photographs of nudes, the majority female, including a few contact sheets, together with 2 photographs of high heels.

POLITICS. A group of 10 typed letters signed by senior Conservative politicians, the majority addressed to Mr R.D.S. Shrimpton, dated 1972-1976, including letters from Edward Heath, Kenneth Clarke and Nigel Lawson, some concerning a paper Shrimpton wrote on 'A New Look at Social Security', together with another typed letter by Shirley Williams.

PRINCESS DIANA. A small collection of ephemera relating to Princess Diana including press photographs, postcards and stamps.

PHOTOGRAPHS. A large collection of photographs, 19th and 20th century, the majority portraits.

PHOTOGRAPHS. An album containing approximately 130 tipped-in and 31 loose black and white photographs of circuses, circa 1950-1956, various sizes from 7cm x 9.5cm to 23.5cm x 34cm; the majority of the photographs are captioned and include Chipperfields' Circus, Bertram Mills Circus, Billy Smart's Circus, and Lord George Sanger's Circus.

SHOW BUSINESS. A collection of programmes, magazines and other ephemera mostly relating to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby and Judy Garland.

THEATRE. A collection of programmes and other ephemera relating to the theatre, shows and performances, including a collection relating to performances at the Theatre Royal, Brighton, a few signed.

PHOTOGRAPHS. A collection of various photographs in albums and loose, including a small group of 8 portraits by Tom Hustler of a wedding party, images 19cm x 24cm, each signed in pencil to mount.

HYMNAL. A single vellum leaf from a Catholic hymnal for Corpus Christi by Saint Thomas Aquinas, probably 17th or 18th century, pp.48-49, 55.5cm x 37.5cm, the manuscript with rubricated initials. Note: the leaf contains the complete strophes of 'Panis Angelicus' and 'Verbum supernum prodiens'.
