A Chinese blue and white porcelain baluster jar and cover, mark of Kangxi but late 19th century, painted with blossoming prunus branches, underglaze blue four-character mark to base, height 26cm.

A Chinese underglaze blue and copper red porcelain brushpot, Kangxi style but probably 20th century or later, of cylindrical form, painted with a pavilion in a coastal landscape, height 14cm.

A pair of Japanese cloisonné vases, 20th century, each of shouldered tapering form, decorated with a bird perched on a flowering stem against a pale yellow ground, height 21.5cm.

Two Chinese famille rose enamelled porcelain vases, late Qing dynasty, each shouldered tapering body painted with battle scenes within iron oxide washed borders, each flared neck with applied Buddhistic lion handles and chilong, height 44.5cm and 45cm (minor faults).

A pair of Japanese Fukagawa Koransha Imari black ground porcelain cylinder vases, Meiji period, each painted and gilt with a samurai standing before bamboo and blossoming prunus branches on a black ground, within iron red ground borders filled with flowers and tendrils, iron red enamelled factory mark to bases, height 30.3cm (handles restored and one damaged).

A Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain bottle vase, mid-19th century, painted and gilt with scenes of figures and lines of text, height 34.3cm (neck damaged and repaired).

A pair of Japanese Kutani porcelain circular charger dishes, Meiji period, each painted and gilt with floral panels against a flower ground with simulated brocade borders, iron red three-character mark to base, diameter 37cm (one with hairline crack to base), together with a similar Kutani porcelain charger dish, diameter 37.5cm (chipped and cracked).

A Japanese silk embroidered rectangular panel, Meiji period, worked in coloured and gilt thread with a scene of a crane flying above a pine tree, elderly gentleman and attendant boy, on a blue ground, 72cm x 62cm, framed and glazed.

A Chinese hardstone and mother-of-pearl embellished hardwood seal chest (guanpixiang), late Qing dynasty, possibly huanghuali, of traditional rectangular form, the top, sides and front doors decorated with hardstone, bone and mother-of-pearl scenes of figures, birds, insects, trees, rocks and flowers, the hinged lid revealing a hinged mirror and compartment to interior, the front with circular brass lock plate and hinge mounts, the sides with brass drop handles, the interior fitted with an arrangement of seven drawers, each front similarly inset with blossoming branches, on a similarly decorated plinth base, height 39cm, width 40cm, depth 26.5cm (some losses). Note: boxes such as this example were typically made for use on a scholar's desk; however, they were also employed by women to contain their cosmetics for dressing purposes.

A Chinese Canton carved and pierced wood rectangular panel, early 20th century, decorated in high relief with a continuous figural scene within a pavilion and out of doors, length 70.5cm.

A Chinese hardwood chair, late 20th century, of square form with splat back and solid panelled seat, on block legs united by stretchers, height 78cm, width 58cm.

A Chinese hardwood stand, late Qing dynasty, the circular top inset with a rouge marble panel, above a carved vine frieze and shouldered tapering legs with claw and ball feet, height 44.5cm, diameter 35.5cm.

A Chinese Hongmu throne-style mirror stand, late Qing dynasty, the carved and pierced graduated five-panel back decorated with figural scenes and flowers, each surmounted with carved dragon head crestings, all supported on a galleried rectangular base fitted with a drawer, the front carved in low relief with lotus and scrolling tendrils, above a similarly carved frieze and scroll feet, height 67.5cm, width 48.3cm, depth 32cm.

A Chinese famille rose enamelled dragon and fenghuang pattern porcelain part service, mark of Guangxu but Republic period, each piece painted with an iron red dragon opposing a polychrome fenghuang with flaming pearl, clouds and vapours between, all beneath a keyfret rim, comprising six saucer dishes, diameters 24.2cm, four smaller saucer dishes, diameter 18.7cm, eight bowls and seven covers/stands, bowl diameter 13cm, iron red enamelled six-character mark to bases (minor chips and faults).

A Chinese 'clobbered' blue and white porcelain vase and cover, Kangxi period and later, of baluster form, painted in underglaze blue and later embellished in polychrome enamels and gilt with dragons amidst flowers, pavilions, trees and rocks, iron red painted pseudo seal mark to base, height 44cm (damaged and repaired).

A Chinese famille verte porcelain small circular dish, mark of Kangxi but later, the centre painted with a standing figure and two attendants, underglaze blue six-character mark to base, diameter 18.5cm.

A Chinese cloisonné censer and cover in the form of a luduan, late Qing dynasty, the mythical Buddhistic lion modelled standing four-square with blue, green and red decoration, the hinged cover forming the pierced head, height 27cm.

A Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl, mark of Chenghua but Kangxi period, of slightly flared steep-sided circular form, painted with a uniform design of lotus and scrolling leafy tendrils, underglaze blue six-character mark within double ring to base, height 9.6cm, diameter 20.6cm (repaired and hairline crack).
