A Moorcroft yellow ground Edward VIII Coronation commemorative tobacco box and cover, dated 1937, of circular shape decorated with a crown opposing an orb and sceptre beneath an inscribed band, impressed marks to base with facsimile signature and brown painted signature, diameter 14.5cm. Provenance: From the estate of a Sussex gentleman. Purchased from Toovey’s, Lot 1597, 20th October 2022.

A Minton Parian figure of Dorothea, dated 1856, modelled by John Bell, relief moulded marks to side of base, height 34cm. Provenance: from the estate of a Sussex gentleman.

A Coalport porcelain Japan pattern part service, circa 1810, painted in Imari colours and gilt with a rock and tree design within a panelled rim, the rim undersides with foliate detail, comprising a rectangular shaped soup tureen, cover and stand with gilt cornucopia moulded handles and finial, length of stand 34.5cm, a pair of square shaped tureens and covers with entwined gilt decorated moulded cornucopia finials, nine soup plates, 24.8cm diameter, fourteen plates, 24.3cm diameter, nine plates, 21.5cm diameter, oval platter, length 29cm, oval dish, length 27.8cm, square dish, length 22.5cm, and a saucer dish, diameter 21cm, unmarked (minor faults and wear). Provenance: From the estate of a Sussex gentleman. Purchased at a Sotheby's auction, 22nd November 2000. Note: pieces of a similar pattern are illustrated by Geoffrey A. A pair of Staffordshire pottery candlestick lustres, 19th century, the pale blue enamelled baluster stems with gilt foliate scroll decoration, supporting still leaf moulded drip trays, enamelled in gilt overlaid pale yellow, hung with prismatic drops beneath the pale blue enamelled sconces, the hexagonal feet with scroll moulded detail, unmarked, height 25.5cm (faults and restoration), together with a pair of pale blue jasperware Wedgwood style jardinières, height 15cm, and a Mason's yellow ground vase gilt with dragon panels against a gilt scale ground, height 21cm. Provenance: From the estate of a Sussex gentleman.

A Staffordshire pearlware square shaped bowl, early 19th century, printed in underglaze blue with dragons, vapours and clouds against an enamelled iron red ground painted with flowers and green foliage, unmarked, length 27.5cm. Provenance: from the estate of a Sussex gentleman.

Two Poole Pottery lamp bases with traditional floral decoration including daffodils, mid to later 20th century, the first of baluster shape, pattern 'BD', height to top of fitting 30cm, the second of ovoid shape, pattern 'RE', height to top of fitting 20cm, together with four similarly painted Poole Pottery vases, height of tallest 22.5cm (one with chip to foot), and a biscuit barrel and cover with wicker handle.

A large mixed group of traditionally floral painted Poole Pottery, mid to later 20th century, including five vases, tallest 15cm, three jugs, tallest 14cm, six variously sized and contoured circular bowls, largest diameter 21cm, a large posy bowl with wide overturned rim, diameter 24cm, a leaf shaped dish, length 30.5cm, a small plant pot, two posy rings, three posy dishes, candlestick, height 14cm, circular butter tub and cover, two oblong dishes and a square ashtray (minor faults).

A large mixed group of traditionally floral painted Poole Pottery, mid to later 20th century, including a segmented hors d'oeuvre dish, ten egg cups, a bachelor's tea set with tray, three egg cups with integral bases, toast rack, three plates, cheese dish and cover, two butter dishes and covers, eight preserve pots and covers, caster, two posy dishes and various small plates, bowls and dishes, together with the hardback book 'Poole Pottery' by Leslie Hayward and Paul Atterbury, (some faults).

A Hadley’s Worcester jardinière, 1900-02, shape No. 252, of bulbous shape with pierced trellis sections to the rim, raised on four foliate moulded scroll feet, painted with two panels depicting storks alternating with two panels painted with yellow iris, within moulded borders, green printed, red painted and incised marks to base, height 15.5cm (minor restoration to rim). Note: this particular piece is illustrated by Peter Woodger, ‘James Hadley & Sons Artist Potters Worcester’, p.137.

A rare Hadley’s Worcester circular frame, circa 1900, shape No. 127, moulded in low relief with a semi-classical design of foliate scrollwork, masks and dolphins picked out in shades of green and buff against an ivory ground, unmarked, diameter 25.3cm, fitted to the centre with a Hadley plaque moulded in relief with a female head in ivory against a buff ground, shape No. 107, unmarked, diameter 13cm (minor faults).

A pair of Hadley’s Worcester jardinières, 1900-02, shape No. 168A, the baluster bodies painted with apricot coloured roses between gilt enriched moulded borders flanked by ram’s head handles, raised on integral bases with moulded bead and foliate scroll detail, green printed and red painted marks to bases, height 19cm.

A Royal Worcester vase, dated 1908, painted by Hood, signed, with a peacock and peahen perched on a pine tree above a moulded border, green printed and painted marks to base with Hadley monogram, height 15.5cm.

A pair of Hadley’s Worcester Faience two-handled vases, 1897-1900, shape No. 147, the ovoid bodies painted with daffodils and grasses beneath high scroll handles with foliate moulded detail and animal mask upper terminals, the spreading circular feet on canted corner square bases, green printed and red painted marks to bases, height 22cm, together with a pair of Hadley’s Worcester ewers, 1902-05, painted with pink roses, shape No. 271, height 24cm (restored).

Two Hadley’s Worcester Faience bottle vases, 1897-1900, shape No. F102, both with extended narrow neck moulded with glazed detail, the first painted in brown in an aesthetic style with a stork and various plants and flowers with gilt dotted highlights against an ivory ground, the second painted in sepia with flowers against a blush ground, puce printed marks to bases, both 25cm high.

A Hadley’s Worcester Faience two-handled vase, 1897-1900, shape No. F100, decorated in brown and green with flowers around a foliate medallion opposing berries and blossom around a similar smaller medallion, against a blush ground between moulded borders picked out in green, the neck flanked by green handles with animal mask upper terminals, puce printed and green painted marks to base, height 30cm (restored neck rim, lacking cover), together with a similar Hadley’s Worcester Faience vase with brown painted floral decoration against a blush ground, height 23cm.

A Royal Worcester four lobe teacup and saucer, dated 1905, shape No. 192, painted with pink and yellow roses beneath green glazed borders, green printed and red painted marks to base with Hadley monogram, diameter of saucer 13.5cm, together with two matching Hadley’s Worcester teacups and saucers painted with flowers, 1900-02, and a Hadley’s Worcester teacup and saucer, 1902-05, shape No. 259, painted with birds in flight and pinecones, diameter of saucer 14.8cm.

A rare Hadley’s Worcester two-handled loving cup, dated May 4th 1904, shape No. 268A, painted by Powell, signed, with a view of Worcester Rowing Club opposing their motto and crest, all above a border of relief scrollwork picked out in green, brown and apricot glazes, flanked by similarly coloured scroll handles, against an ivory ground, green printed, red painted and incised marks to base, height 11cm (chip to rim).

A Hadley’s Worcester Faience biscuit barrel with plated mounts and cover, 1897-1900, shape No. 151B, the bulbous body painted in brown with alternate panels depicting birds and blossom against a blush ground within green glazed moulded borders, puce printed and red painted marks to base, height to top of handle 23cm, together with a similar Hadley’s Worcester fruit bowl with plated rim, green printed mark to base, diameter 23.5cm.

A Royal Worcester Hadley Ware two-handled potpourri vase and cover, dated 1905, shape No. 241, of lobed bulbous shape with gilt enriched branch and leaf handles and feet, painted with pink roses against a blush ground, the cover pierced, green printed, red painted and incised marks to base, height 18cm (some restoration), together with a Hadley’s Worcester two-handled vase with matched cover, 1900-02, shape No. 121, painted with pink and yellow flowers within blue and green gilt enriched moulded borders, height 19cm.
